In Pinellas County, where there are often many more homes on the market these days than buyers to buy them, creative realtors have revived an old time favorite called The Realtor's Pitch session.  This is basically (pardon the pun!) a net-working meeting of realtors in a geographic area who get together on a monthly or bi-weekly basis in order to share information on their listings as well as information on the wants and needs of their prospective buyers.  In this "hour of power", deals can be uncovered that may have otherwise gone unnoticed because of the over-supply of listings.  The smart agents who attend these get-togethers can sometimes match up one of their buyers with the perfect home or put a deal together with an agent they might not have otherwise spoken to about a listing which, here-to-fore, had been uncovered.

The events are generally sponsored by affiliates; Title Reps or Mortgage companies, who can also be of hopeful assistance down the road when one of these "matches" comes to fruition.
